Welcome to your trusted travel partner for seamless transportation across Goa. Whether you are heading out to explore the pristine beaches of the south, arriving from Dabolim or Mopa airport, or connecting to a railway station, our dedicated fleet operating from Karma Royal Haathi Mahal, Mobor ensures a comfortable, safe, and punctual journey every single time.
Reliable, comfortable and honestly priced transport — right from the resort lobby.
goataxis.in is a Goa-based taxi and travel service built around one simple promise: a fair price, a clean car, and a driver who arrives on time. Our primary operations hub sits at Karma Royal Haathi Mahal in Mobor, Cavelossim — one of the most beautiful and peaceful corners of South Goa. From here we serve guests staying at the resort as well as travellers across Cavelossim, Mobor, Carmona, Benaulim, Colva, Varca, Fatrade and the wider Salcete belt.
South Goa is spread out. Beaches that look close on a map can be 30–90 minutes apart once you factor in river crossings, narrow village roads and the occasional wandering cow. Public buses are slow and infrequent, and app-based cab availability in the far south is inconsistent, especially late at night. That is exactly why having a dependable local taxi contact matters. When you book with goataxis.in, you get a confirmed vehicle, a confirmed fare, and a driver who already knows the route before you even step into the car.
We operate three vehicle classes to suit every group and every budget — the economical Sedan for couples and solo travellers, the spacious Ertiga for families of up to six, and the premium Innova Crysta for guests who want extra legroom, luggage space and a smoother ride on longer journeys. All vehicles are air-conditioned, regularly serviced, deep-cleaned between trips, and driven by professional, licensed, English-speaking drivers.
Your driver waits at the Karma Royal Haathi Mahal lobby before your scheduled time — no frantic calls, no delays, no stress on the morning of your flight.
Every fare is calculated on actual kilometres travelled at a published rate. You can see the full distance chart below — nothing is decided "on the day".
Fully licensed vehicles with valid permits, insurance and verified drivers. Night rides, solo female travellers and senior citizens are always prioritised.
We believe in transparent, kilometre-based pricing with no hidden charges. Choose the vehicle that best suits your comfort and group size.
How the fare works: The final fare is calculated as Distance (KM) × Vehicle Rate. The distance is measured from Karma Royal Haathi Mahal to your drop location using the standard route. Tolls, parking fees and state permits, where applicable, are charged at actuals and always disclosed before you confirm the booking.
Round trips & sightseeing: For full-day sightseeing, multi-stop tours or round trips, we offer discounted day packages. Simply message 7499528252 on WhatsApp with your plan and we will send a fixed all-inclusive quote.

Thousands of guests have trusted us with their Goa travel plans. Here is what makes the difference.
Clean, sanitised, fully air-conditioned Sedans and SUVs. Every car is serviced on schedule and inspected before each trip.
Professional, courteous, uniformed drivers with expert knowledge of Goa's routes, shortcuts, ferry timings and traffic patterns.
On-time pickups directly from the Karma Royal Haathi Mahal lobby, with a buffer built in for airport and train departures.
Round-the-clock booking support for early morning flights, late-night arrivals and last-minute plans. We never close.
Our full distance and fare chart is public. You know the price before you sit in the car — no haggling at the destination.
Drivers help with bags, surfboards and strollers. Roof carriers can be arranged for larger groups on request.
Child seats on request, gentle driving, and patient assistance for elderly guests and travellers with limited mobility.
No app downloads, no forms. One message to 7499528252 and your cab is confirmed within minutes.
Three carefully chosen vehicle classes — each maintained to the same high standard.
The Sedan is the workhorse of our fleet and the most popular choice for airport transfers and station runs. With seating for up to four passengers (two comfortably in the rear) and a boot that swallows one large suitcase plus a cabin bag, it is the ideal economical option for couples, solo travellers and small families.
Sedans are available at ₹40 per kilometre, making a trip from Karma Royal Haathi Mahal to Madgaon Railway Station just ₹880 and to Dabolim Airport just ₹1,436. The cabin is ice-cold within minutes — a genuine relief after a hot afternoon on Mobor Beach.
The Maruti Ertiga is the family favourite. With three rows of seating and a flexible layout, it comfortably carries up to six passengers or five passengers with a full holiday luggage load. The higher seating position gives everyone a better view of Goa's palm-lined roads, and the ride is noticeably smoother than a standard sedan on rough village stretches.
At ₹60 per kilometre, the Ertiga is excellent value when split across a group. A family of five travelling to Baga pays ₹3,720 total — roughly ₹744 per person. For groups, the Ertiga usually works out cheaper than two separate sedans.
When comfort is the priority, the Toyota Innova Crysta is unmatched. It offers captain-seat style comfort, generous legroom, superior suspension and a quiet cabin — making long drives to North Goa, Mopa Airport or the ghats of Ponda far more pleasant. It is the vehicle of choice for corporate guests, honeymooners and senior travellers.
Priced at ₹80 per kilometre, the Innova Crysta is a premium product at a fair rate. A trip to Mopa Airport costs ₹6,800 and a full-day North Goa sightseeing run can be arranged as a fixed package — message us to know more.
Vehicles are allocated on a first-confirmed basis. During peak season — roughly mid-October to mid-March, plus the Christmas–New Year week and long weekends — our fleet at Karma Royal Haathi Mahal is often fully booked several days in advance. We strongly recommend reserving your airport transfer or day tour at least 48 hours ahead.
If your preferred vehicle class is unavailable, we will offer the next best option at the same or a comparable rate, and always with your approval before confirming. We never downgrade a confirmed booking without your consent.
Planning your days in Goa? Here is what you need to know about the most requested destinations from Karma Royal Haathi Mahal — and exactly what the ride will cost.
You are already here. Mobor Beach is the quiet, upmarket southern tip of the Cavelossim–Mobor coastline, where the Sal River meets the Arabian Sea. The beach is wide, clean and rarely crowded, backed by a handful of excellent beach shacks and five-star resorts. Because Karma Royal Haathi Mahal sits right in Mobor, a short local drop to the beach, to Cavelossim village, or to a nearby restaurant is charged as a local trip. For these short hops, message us and we will quote a flat local rate rather than a per-kilometre fare.
Cavelossim is the sister village to Mobor, separated only by a small bridge over the Sal River. It has a lively but relaxed strip of restaurants, cafés, bakeries and shops. Most guests at Haathi Mahal visit Cavelossim at least once a day — for dinner, for groceries, or simply for a change of scene. Local drops are quick and inexpensive.
Varca is one of South Goa's most underrated beaches. Wide, white and wonderfully uncrowded, it is popular with long-stay European travellers and offers a handful of excellent beachfront restaurants. The drive from Mobor takes about 20 minutes along the coastal road through Carmona and Fatrade. Because it is so close, Varca makes an easy half-day outing — and at ₹392 by sedan, it is one of the cheapest beach trips you can make from the resort.
Benaulim is a proper Goan village with a beautiful beach, a working fishing community and a good spread of shacks and restaurants. It is livelier than Varca but far calmer than Colva. The beach road is lined with shops selling cashews, spices and handicrafts. A sedan round trip from Karma Royal Haathi Mahal costs under ₹900 — excellent value for a morning or evening out.
Colva is the busiest and best-known beach in South Goa, with a long promenade, water sports, pony rides, street food and a dense cluster of shacks. If you want energy, shopping and plenty of dining options, Colva delivers. It gets crowded on weekends and during peak season, so plan your visit for the early morning or late afternoon. The drive takes around 30 minutes.
Madgaon, or Margao, is the commercial capital of South Goa and the region's main shopping and transport hub. The Municipal Market is famous for Goan spices, cashew feni, dried fish and local sweets. You will also find banks, ATMs, hospitals, supermarkets and the Margao bus stand here. Many guests take a sedan into Margao for a half-day of shopping and return with far more luggage than they left with — which is exactly why we recommend the Ertiga if you plan to buy in bulk.
Madgaon Junction is South Goa's primary railway station and the arrival point for most Konkan Railway and Indian Railways trains, including the Mandovi Express, Konkan Kanya Express and various overnight services from Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Delhi. The station is about 45–55 minutes from Mobor depending on traffic through Margao town. We track train timings and adjust pickup times automatically if your train is delayed — just share your PNR or train number when booking.
Majorda is a quiet, leafy village known for its bakeries — Goan bread (pão) from Majorda is legendary — and for a long, gentle beach that is excellent for swimming. It is also home to some beautiful Portuguese-era houses. It makes a pleasant half-day trip combined with nearby Utorda and Betalbatim.
Navelim is a residential and commercial suburb of Margao, home to several schools, churches and the famous Navelim market. Guests typically travel here for local shopping, medical visits or to visit family. It is a straightforward, quick run from Mobor.
Cabo de Rama Fort is one of South Goa's most atmospheric landmarks — a ruined Portuguese fort perched on a headland with sweeping views of the Arabian Sea and a small, secluded beach below. The drive south from Mobor passes through Assolna, Cuncolim and Canacona. It is a wonderful sunset spot and pairs perfectly with a stop at the nearby Cabo de Rama beach. Note that the final approach road is narrow; our drivers know it well.
Agonda is the poster child of quiet South Goa — a long, crescent-shaped beach backed by palms, with no water sports, no loud music and a genuinely peaceful atmosphere. It is a protected turtle nesting site, so the beach is kept dark and quiet at night during nesting season. Agonda attracts yoga enthusiasts, long-stay travellers and anyone looking to escape crowds. The drive takes about an hour.
Canacona is the taluka town serving Agonda, Palolem and Patnem. It has the area's main market, bus stand and hospital. If you are staying in the far south, Canacona is your practical hub for banking, shopping and medical needs.
Cola Beach is one of Goa's true hidden gems — a secluded cove with a freshwater lagoon that meets the sea, accessible only by a rough final track. There is very little infrastructure here, which is precisely its charm. The last stretch of road is unpaved and steep in places; we recommend the Ertiga or Innova Crysta for this route. Bring water, sunscreen and cash, as there are no ATMs nearby.
Patnem is Palolem's quieter neighbour — a lovely curved beach with a good mix of beach huts, yoga shalas and relaxed restaurants. It is walkable from Palolem along the coast at low tide, making the two beaches easy to combine in a single trip.
Palolem is Goa's most photographed beach — a perfect crescent of palm-fringed sand with calm, shallow water and colourful beach huts. It is lively but not chaotic, and the surrounding village has excellent cafés and shops. A sedan trip from Karma Royal Haathi Mahal takes roughly 1 hour 10 minutes and costs in the region of ₹1,480. Ask us for an exact quote when you book.
Panaji is Goa's capital and its most charming city. The Latin Quarter of Fontainhas — a maze of narrow lanes lined with vivid yellow, blue and red Portuguese houses — is a photographer's dream. Other highlights include the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the Mandovi riverfront promenade, Miramar Beach and the casino boats. Panaji is also the best place in Goa for a proper city dinner. The drive from Mobor takes about 1 hour 15 minutes via the NH-66.
Old Goa was once the capital of Portuguese India and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Basilica of Bom Jesus — which houses the relics of St. Francis Xavier — and the Se Cathedral are among the most important religious monuments in Asia. The site is best visited early in the morning to avoid both crowds and heat. Combine Old Goa with Panaji and Miramar for a superb full-day cultural tour.
Ponda is the temple town of Goa. The Shri Mangueshi Temple and Shri Shantadurga Temple are the most visited, and both are architecturally striking. Ponda is also famous for its spice farms — several offer guided tours, traditional Goan lunches and elephant interactions (ethical farms only). A half-day Ponda temple and spice farm tour is one of our most popular packages.
Dona Paula is a scenic headland near Panaji with a famous jetty, a rocky viewpoint and a romantic legend attached to it. It offers excellent sunset views over the Zuari river mouth. The area also has a good selection of restaurants and is close to the National Institute of Oceanography.
Miramar is Panaji's city beach — broad, breezy and popular with families in the evening. Caranzalem is its quieter continuation. Both are pleasant stops on a Panaji day trip, especially around sunset when the promenade fills with food stalls.
Porvorim and Betim sit just across the Mandovi river from Panaji, on the road towards North Goa. They are mostly residential and commercial areas, but are useful reference points for guests with business or family there. Fares are ₹2,120 and ₹2,088 by sedan respectively.
Nerul is a pretty riverside village in North Goa, close to Coco Beach and Reis Magos Fort. It is quieter than the main North Goa beaches and popular with travellers who want to be near the action without being in it.
Baga is the heart of North Goa's nightlife and entertainment scene. The beach itself is lively, with water sports during the day and a long line of shacks and clubs along the shore and the Baga river. Tito's Lane is a short walk away. Expect a drive of around 1 hour 40 minutes from Mobor. If you are planning a late night out, we strongly recommend booking a round trip with a waiting driver rather than trying to find a cab at 2 AM.
Calangute is known as the "Queen of Beaches" and is the largest and busiest beach in North Goa. Candolim, just south of it, is slightly more upmarket with a great selection of restaurants, cafés and shops along the main road. Both are excellent for shopping — clothes, jewellery, spices and souvenirs. Sedan fares are ₹2,560 to Calangute and ₹2,504 to Candolim.
Sinquerim sits at the foot of the historic Aguada Fort and is the departure point for boat trips to see the dolphins. It is calmer than Baga and Calangute and has a lovely stretch of beach in front of the Taj and Vivanta resorts. Combining Sinquerim with Fort Aguada and Candolim makes a great half-day North Goa itinerary.
Arpora is home to the famous Saturday Night Market during season — a huge open-air bazaar with live music, food stalls and hundreds of vendors. Parra is a quiet village of paddy fields and Portuguese houses, best known as the location of the "holy cross" of Parra. Both are convenient bases for exploring North Goa.
Assagao has quietly become North Goa's most fashionable address, home to a cluster of excellent restaurants, boutique cafés and design stores. It is a lovely place for a long lunch or dinner, and the drive through the village lanes is genuinely beautiful.
Vagator is famous for its dramatic red cliffs, the ruins of Chapora Fort on the headland, and a beach that splits into two coves — Big Vagator and Little Vagator (Ozran). The sunset from Chapora Fort is one of the best in Goa. Vagator is also the heart of Goa's trance and electronic music scene.
Anjuna needs little introduction. The Wednesday Flea Market (in season) is one of India's most famous markets, and the beach itself is a lovely curve of sand with rocky outcrops at either end. Anjuna has a strong bohemian character, plenty of cafés, and a steady flow of long-stay travellers. Note that the flea market runs only during the tourist season — check before planning your trip.
Siolim sits on the Chapora river and is known for its pretty riverside setting, the St. Anthony's Church, and a growing number of excellent restaurants. It is a good base for travellers who want to be between North Goa's beaches and the quieter backwaters.
Morjim is known as "Little Russia" because of its large Russian expatriate community, and it is also an important Olive Ridley turtle nesting beach. The beach is wide, clean and relatively quiet compared to Baga and Calangute. Excellent seafood restaurants line the shore.
Arambol is the northernmost of Goa's main beaches — a long, sweeping bay with a freshwater lake, a banyan tree grove, and a famously free-spirited atmosphere. It attracts musicians, artists and long-stay travellers from all over the world. The drive from Mobor takes approximately 2 hours 15 minutes, so we recommend making it a full-day trip or an overnight stay.
Pernem is the northernmost taluka of Goa, bordering Maharashtra. It is the access point for the new Mopa International Airport and for the quieter, lesser-known beaches of Kerim, Talasri and Ashwem's northern stretches. It is also home to several temples and the famous Cashew Feni distilleries.
Dabolim Airport, officially Goa International Airport, is located in the centre of the state near Vasco da Gama. It handles the majority of domestic flights and many international services. The drive from Karma Royal Haathi Mahal takes about 55–70 minutes via the NH-66 and Cortalim. We offer meet-and-greet service at the arrivals gate with a name placard, flight tracking, and free waiting time of 45 minutes for international arrivals and 30 minutes for domestic.
Manohar International Airport at Mopa, in North Goa, opened in 2022 and now handles a growing share of Goa's air traffic. It is a much longer drive from South Goa — roughly 2 hours 15 minutes from Mobor — so please allow generous time. Because of the distance, we recommend the Innova Crysta or Ertiga for comfort. Tolls on the new expressway may apply and are charged at actuals.
Vasco da Gama is both a port city and a railway terminus, serving the South Western Railway. It is also the closest town to Dabolim Airport and to the popular Bogmalo and Hollant beaches. Vasco is a good stop for anyone catching a train onward to Karnataka or Kerala.
Karmali is the more convenient railway station for North Goa and Panaji, situated on the banks of the Mandovi river near Old Goa. Many Konkan Railway trains stop at both Karmali and Madgaon — check your ticket carefully, as the two stations are 50 km apart and travellers frequently mix them up. If you are unsure, send us your PNR and we will confirm the correct station.
Thivim is the primary railway station for North Goa, located near Mapusa. It serves the Konkan Railway and is convenient for guests heading to or arriving from Mumbai, Pune and Mangalore. The drive from Mobor takes around 1 hour 45 minutes.
Mapusa is North Goa's main market town, famous for its Friday bazaar. Thivim town is a quieter residential area around the railway station. Both are common drop points for guests connecting onward to North Goa beaches.
Booking with goataxis.in takes less than two minutes. No apps, no prepayment, no complicated forms.

Mopa (Manohar International Airport) is approximately 85 km from Mobor, and the drive takes around 2 hours 15 minutes. The sedan fare is ₹3,400, the Ertiga is ₹5,100 and the Innova Crysta is ₹6,800. Because of the distance, we recommend the Ertiga or Innova Crysta for comfort.

Yes. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays. Early-morning airport departures, late-night arrivals and midnight railway station pickups are all routine for us. For pickups between 11 PM and 5 AM, we recommend booking at least 12 hours in advance so we can guarantee vehicle availability.
All fares are per vehicle, not per person. Whether you are travelling alone or with three co-passengers, the sedan fare is the same. This makes group travel significantly more economical — an Ertiga split six ways often works out cheaper than public transport for longer routes.
We accept cash and all major UPI apps including Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm and BHIM. Card payments can be arranged for larger bookings with advance notice. Receipts and GST invoices are provided on request for corporate travellers.
Yes. We regularly handle group movements for weddings, corporate offsites and family reunions, arranging multiple sedans, Ertigas and Innovas with coordinated pickup times. Please give us at least 5–7 days' notice for large group bookings, especially during peak season.
Our drivers speak English, Hindi, Konkani and Marathi, and several also understand basic Russian and Kannada. If you have a language preference, mention it when booking and we will assign an appropriate driver where possible.
Cancellations are free up to 4 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made within 4 hours may attract a nominal charge if the vehicle has already been dispatched. Airport and railway pickups are never cancelled by us due to delays — we wait for you.
Yes. We arrange outstation trips to Gokarna, Karwar, Dandeli, Amboli, Ganpatipule, Kolhapur and other destinations in Karnataka and Maharashtra. Outstation fares include a per-kilometre rate plus driver allowance and applicable state permits, all disclosed upfront.
Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in all our vehicles, in line with Indian law and for the comfort of all passengers. Drivers are also prohibited from consuming alcohol before or during duty.
A sedan carries one large suitcase and one cabin bag. An Ertiga carries three to four medium bags with the third row folded. An Innova Crysta carries four to five large bags comfortably. For surfboards, bicycles or unusually large items, let us know in advance and we will arrange a roof carrier or a larger vehicle.
No — we include 45 minutes of free waiting for international arrivals and 30 minutes for domestic arrivals. This is more than enough time to clear immigration, collect your bags and reach the pickup point. Beyond that, a modest hourly waiting charge applies.
Yes. Simply ask your driver or message us on WhatsApp after the trip and we will send you a digital receipt, and a GST invoice if required for business expenses.
Small pieces of local knowledge that make a big difference to your holiday.
Goa's roads are busiest between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, and again between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. If you are heading to North Goa or to either airport, leaving early in the morning will save you a significant amount of time. The Panaji–Mapusa corridor in particular can add 30–45 minutes to a journey during peak hours.
If you are visiting a popular beach on a Sunday or a public holiday, aim to arrive before 10:00 AM to secure parking and a good spot. And always allow extra buffer time for railway station drops — Margao's roads can be unpredictable around train departure times.
Goa's monsoon runs from roughly June to September. Roads in the interior — especially those leading to waterfalls, spice farms and the far-south beaches like Cola and Cabo de Rama — can become slippery or waterlogged. During this period we recommend the Ertiga or Innova Crysta for better ground clearance and stability. Our drivers are experienced in monsoon driving and will always choose the safest route, even if it is slightly longer.
The busiest period in Goa is mid-December to early January, followed by the general tourist season from mid-October to mid-March. During these months, vehicles book out quickly and road traffic increases substantially. Book your airport transfers and day tours as early as possible — ideally when you book your accommodation.
UPI is accepted almost everywhere in Goa now, including beach shacks and small shops. That said, it is always wise to carry some cash for remote areas, tolls and small vendors. ATMs are readily available in Margao, Colva, Benaulim, Panaji, Calangute and Mapusa, but far fewer in places like Agonda, Cola and Cabo de Rama.
When visiting churches and temples, dress modestly — shoulders and knees covered is the general expectation. Remove footwear before entering temples. Ask before photographing people, especially in fishing villages. Goa is a relaxed place, but courtesy is always appreciated and will make your interactions warmer.
Most Goa beaches have strong undercurrents, particularly during the monsoon and in the shoulder months. Swim only where lifeguards are present (they operate on the main beaches from November to May) and always between the red and yellow flags. Never swim alone, and avoid swimming after dark. If in doubt, ask your driver — we know which beaches are safest on any given day.
Send us a WhatsApp message with your pickup point, destination and travel time, and we will confirm your vehicle and fare within minutes. No apps, no advance payment, no hidden charges — just a clean car and a driver who arrives on time.
